【経営経過】
１９５４年（昭和２９年） 西弘志によって設立され、買葉業者としてスタートする。
１９６３年（昭和３８年） 系列農家方式による経営を開始
１９７５年（昭和５０年） 系列農家参加による『茶園品評会』を開始。圃場の研究が本格化する。
１９７９年（昭和５４年） 『有限会社 西製茶工場』を設立 西喜実代表取締役就任
１９８５年（昭和６０年） 自社直営茶園の開設
１９９２年（平成４年） 自社直接指導の茶園管理企業『きりしま農園』を設立
１９９４年（平成６年） 有機栽培の取り組みを始める。
１９９８年（平成１０年） 「ゆたか農園」設立。圃場のブロック別分割経営を始める。JONA認定
２０００年（平成１２年） 規格改正に伴い有機JAS認証を取得
２００４年（平成１６年） 海外の有機認定取得へ取り組む
２００５年（平成１７年） 碾茶工場建設。「碾茶」のチャレンジ開始
２０１０年（平成２２年） 新型生葉洗浄設備導入。降灰対策、大気汚染対策に取り組む。
同年 西利実代表取締役就任
